Team Remington’s Powell Continues Sporting Clay Dominance

LONOKE, Ark. – September 11, 2024 – Remington Ammunition congratulates sponsored shooter Brandon Powell as he adds another title to a summer of sporting clay success.  Powell won the South Central Regional High Overall in the Main Event along with claiming the Super Sporting and 5-Stand events to add to an impressive weekend. The regional championship took place September 3-8, 2024, at Defender Outdoors Clay Sports Ranch in Fort Worth, TX.  

“Brandon continues to add to his impressive summer of success.  This is his second regional Main Event title in a month adding the South Central Regional title to the Northeast Regional Championship he won in Maryland,” said Remington’s VP of Marketing Jason Nash.  Powell defeated 671 competitors in the Main Event, shot a perfect 100 straight to win the Super Sporting and bested nearly 500 competitors in the 5-Stand event. 

With the Sporting Clay Nationals right around the corner, other Team Remington shooters also turned in solid performances leading to the premier event of the year. Turner Parcell was the Runner-Up in the Main Event and was the Junior Division Champion. Todd Hitch was M1 in the Main Event and finished Runner-Up in the Junior Division.

Gun Tote’n Mamas Announces PreLoved Bag Program is Open for Instructors

Northbrook, Illinois – September 10, 2024 –  Gun Tote'n Mamas® (GTM) is proud to announce the PreLoved Bag Program, exclusively for certified instructors, is OPEN again!

This program was created especially for the wide network of certified instructors who aim to utilize GTM products in the curriculum of their firearms education classes.  By utilizing the program, instructors can easily and cost-effectively gain access to GTM’s trusted line of concealed carry bags and purses to utilize in their classes of all levels, including Off Body/ FlexCCarry™.

Instructors around the country are invited to participate in the program by sending an email to gtm@guntotenmamas.com requesting program information.  Instructors can specify what size concealed carry purse they most use in their off-body curriculum so GTM can match them as supply allows. With just a $35.00 donation plus the cost of shipping, instructors will be able to receive up to three gently used GTM bags. The donation not only covers refurbishing, but a portion will also go to Armed Women of America, A Girl and A Gun, Shoot Like A Girl and other Industry women-centric organizations. GTM’s team evaluates returned bags and ensures that every bag sent in this program is 100% safe to use. Supply is limited, and GTM will select bags for instructors based on availability.

Dale Evans Named Digital Marketing Specialist for Sierra and Barnes

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. – September 9, 2024 – Dale Evans has joined Sierra and Barnes as Digital Marketing Specialist to lead a new digital first marketing strategy and connect the brands with core and new audiences. Evans has extensive industry experience in the hunting industry and is also an Air Force veteran. Evans’ background creating high quality digital content, storytelling, documenting outdoor experiences and understanding of digital analytics aligns with brand priorities and goals moving forward for both Sierra and Barnes.

Growing up in northeast Florida, Dale has been immersed in the outdoor lifestyle, hunting and fishing from a young age. As an avid hunter he has traveled to countless states in pursuit of new adventures and experiences. After serving for 10 years in the Air Force as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), he decided to move west to explore new opportunities of hunting western big game.

Once established in Montana, Evans attended and graduated from Montana State University with a Fine Arts degree in Photography and Film. Since then, he's had the opportunity to work in various roles throughout the outdoor industry including Outdoor Sportsman Group (Petersen’s Hunting & North American Whitetail) and created video on the team of well-known hunter, outdoorsman and conservationist Randy Newberg, working specifically on Fresh Tracks
