TrueTimber® and Partners Benelli, Nikon and Winchester Ammunition Host Sporting Clays Pro-Am at MLF Stage Six

INMAN, S.C. – May 17, 2019 – TrueTimber and partners Benelli USA, Nikon Sport Optics and Winchester Ammunition, along with Major League Fishing® (MLF), announce a Sporting Clays Competition at Bass Pro Tour Stage Six. The 50-target event will be held at the Bass Pro Shops Shooting Academy at Big Cedar. This fun event will combine pro fishermen, Bass Pro employees, top industry shooters and brand personalities to see who can come out on top.

The action will be enhanced for participants and fans—with both groups eligible to win top prizes from TrueTimber, Benelli USA, Nikon Sport Optics and Winchester Ammunition. The MLF fisherman that posts the top individual score will win an eye-catching Benelli Super Black Eagle 3 decorated in TrueTimber’s Rift pattern.

“The momentum Major League Fishing has generated this year on the Bass Pro Shops Tour is impressive, and we wanted to make sure Stage Six continued the excitement,” said TrueTimber CEO Rusty Sellars. “We’re thrilled that we were able to put together a fun event that will involve the fishermen, the shooting sports side of our business and some of our top partners. But fans won’t be left out either, as they’ll have a chance to win some of these great products. Anyone at the event should stop by the TrueTimber hauler to learn more. And those of us watching remotely can also get in on this great event by watching social media and tuning into the livestream. We can’t wait to watch and see who makes the winner’s circle.”

TrueTimber Partners Enhance Competition

Each partner participating in the competition features TrueTimber patterns on their products or within their related brands, but they agreed to something even more. Benelli USA has donated a custom-decorated Super Black Eagle 3 in TrueTimber Rift as the top prize. Competitors, attendees and viewers at home will also get a chance to see a new pattern from TrueTimber that won’t be announced until later this year.

Nikon Sport Optics has been a staple in the hunting and shooting industry for decades and has included some great optics (many decorated in TrueTimber) as prizes.  Competitors, fans and viewers will have a chance to win a set of Monarch 7 binoculars dipped in Rift and others in the popular TrueTimber Kanati™ camo pattern.

A shooting competition wouldn’t be complete without great ammunition, and that’s just what Winchester is bringing to the shoot. Competitors will be using their famed AA target loads to break as many clays as possible. And several fans will also win $250.00 worth of the top-of-the line ammunition. Details and the full terms and conditions will be available on TrueTimber’s social media channels and website, as well as through participating partners.

Consumer Sweepstakes/Prize packs

Full details of the prizes and how everyone can enter will be available via TrueTimber social media feeds on InstagramFacebook and Twitter as well as TrueTimber.com. Fans can also watch partner social media channels and the MLF accounts for more information.

All of the action on the course and the lake will be available on MajorLeagueFishing.com.
