TORONTO – November 6, 2020 – Survivor Filter has recently discovered multiple complaints about fraudulent charges associated with scammer(s) posing as Survivor Filter. The person or people in question are pretending to be Survivor Filter and charging credit cards of people who have never purchased items from Survivor Filter.
“We have been alerted to a recent scam that people who are not customers, are getting fraudulent charges on their credit card that makes it look like these charges are coming from a company called survivorfilter,” SURVIVOR FILTER Owner Mark Zakaib said. “It looks like the company that is making these charges is using our company name as their username without our permission to confuse their victims. These charges are not from our company and have no relation to our business. We are asking people who receive these charges to immediately report them as fraudulent and if they can please send us all the information they have on these charges to support@survivorfilter.com so we can try and report this scam to the correct authorities.”
The Survivor Filter team can confirm these charges are not coming from the Survivor Filter brand. We apologize for any confusion and are engaged with authorities and other resources to get this stopped. Please reach out to support@survivorfilter.com with any information or charges in question so the Survivor Filter team can assist in further investigation.
