Viridian® Showcasing Weapon-Mounted Cameras at Midwest Security and Police Conference Expo

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – August 13, 2019 – Viridian Weapon Technologies is showcasing the FACT Duty™ Weapon-Mounted Camera (WMC™) at the Midwest Security and Police Conference Expo (MSPCE) from August 13-14 in Illinois this week. The event will give law enforcement personnel an opportunity to experience Viridian’s critical evidence-gathering camera and join more than 500 U.S. departments that have used the WMC in signing up for a no-cost Testing & Evaluation (T&E) program. Attendees are encouraged to visit Viridian at booth #719 to discuss the T&E and implementation program, take advantage of an exclusive show special and attend a seminar on “Trends in Video Evidence: WMCs” presented by Viridian, from 8:30-10 a.m. on August 14.

FACT Duty WMC

The highly advanced FACT Duty WMC employs a 1080p full-HD digital camera with a microphone and 500 lumen tactical light. This distinctive weapon-mounted camera provides a clear view of critical use-of-force events from the end of the firearm, addressing limitations officers can face with body cameras. Viridian’s proprietary INSTANT-ON® technology automatically activates the camera and microphone whenever the officer draws the firearm from its holster.
