Silencer Central knows the benefit of hunting with suppressors, and we’re bringing two new big-bore hunting suppressors to GSCO this year—the new Banish 46 and Banish 338. These new silencers will cut the noise and reduce recoil and are perfect for hunting sheep, goats and other big game.”

Founded in 1956 by Bob Housholder, The Grand Slam Club/Ovis is an organization of hunters and conservationists dedicated to improving and perpetuating wild sheep and goat populations worldwide, as well as North American big game. As an organization GSCO works to encourage the use of legally issued permits, tags, and licenses for the hunting of wild mountain sheep, goats and other big game.

Silencer Central is proud to support the GSCO mission. The company delivers silencers directly to customers in the 42 states where silencers are legal. The shipping process has revolutionized the way suppressors are sold and allows for customers to streamline their purchasing experience by cutting out unnecessary hurdles to silencer ownership.

Silencer Central Announces New Banish 46 and Banish 338 Suppressors

Sioux Falls, South Dakota – January 18, 2022 – Silencer Central, America’s largest silencer dealer, is proud to announce two new Banish suppressors. The new Banish 46 and Banish 338 silencers provide exceptional noise reduction for big-bore rifles.

“Banish suppressors offer exceptional noise and recoil reduction, user-serviceable designs, and adaptable configurations,” said Brandon Maddox, CEO of Silencer Central, “and we are excited to announce the availability of two new additions to our line: the Banish 46 and the Banish 338. Silencer Central values the input of its customers, and these are the big-bore suppressors we’re asked about most frequently, and both cut noise and take the bite off recoil—even with these punishing calibers.”

The Banish 46

The Banish 46 is a modular silencer designed for use with a wide assortment of calibers including .338 Lapua, .45-70 Government, and 10mm and .45ACP. Testing has shown that the BANISH 46 offers a best-in-class decibel reduction among all the .46 caliber suppressors currently on the market.

Made of titanium and Inconel for the ultimate combination of durability and weight reduction, the BANISH 46 weighs only 16.3 oz in the short configuration of 7.9”. The 10” configuration provides more sound reduction with a weight of just 20.4 oz.

The Banish 338

The BANISH 338 is the quietest and most compact .338 suppressor on the market. Made of titanium and Inconel for the ultimate combination of durability and weight reduction, the BANISH 338 weighs only 17.5 oz and is just 9.1” long. Testing has shown the BANISH 338 to offer a sound reduction of 33 decibels.

The BANISH 338 is a direct thread suppressor with a ported Inconel blast baffle that has an increased chamber size and eight other baffles of increased thickness for better durability with larger calibers. The BANISH 338’s accuracy baffle ensures that you’ll have nominal POI shift for long-range shots.
