Tom Hubbard Wins TCGC Match For Team Savage

WESTFIELD, Massachusetts – August 14, 2023 – Savage Arms is proud to announce the win of Team Savage shooter Tom Hubbard this past weekend in Sherwood, Oregon. The success came out of the Summer League 10 target 2000-point 200X Maximum Match, located at Tri County Gun Club (TCGC). It was there that Hubbard took first overall in a fierce battle for the top spot.

This particular 600 yard Summer League Match put shooters to the test by challenging them to a variety of long range shots – with competitors facing 10 targets overall. Hubbard seized first place for Team Savage at TCGC by finishing with a score of 1991- 119X for all 10 league targets.

“Congratulations to Hubbard on a successful weekend,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms. “We’re thrilled for Team Savage to gain yet another win this year and we look forward to adding even more as the season continues.”

Hubbard of Team Savage beat out the opposition using a Savage rifle, one similar to the Savage 12 F-Class long range rifle. Other items on his equipment list included: a Vortex Golden Eagle Scope, Berger Bullets, VihtaVuori powder and Lapua brass.

With another win under their belt, Team Savage continues to be a competitive force during this 2023 season. Savage Team updates and more information on Savage’s extensive line of leading firearms is available at savagearms.com.
