Whitetail Properties Real Estate Renews Sponsorship of National Deer Association (NDA)

June 3, 2021 – The National Deer Association (NDA) has announced a renewed partnership with Whitetail Properties Real Estate for 2021. A key part of the long-running agreement is that NDA provides custom Deer Steward training courses to Whitetail Properties Land Specialists. This helps ensure that all agents have a comprehensive understanding of the key principles of deer and habitat biology, ecology and management.

Currently, all Land Specialists have achieved or are working toward a Level 1 certification, and a significant number are also certified Level 2 Deer Stewards. Whitetail Properties is the only company focusing on rural real estate and hunting land that requires its agents to be certified NDA Deer Stewards.

In the past, NDA staff and Deer Steward instructors conducted private, custom Deer Steward courses for Whitetail Properties Land Specialists. With the sponsorship renewal, additional Level 2 courses are on the schedule for 2021.

“It’s an enormous benefit to both Whitetail Properties and NDA for the top hunting-land specialists in the country to be trained Deer Stewards,” said Kip Adams, NDA’s Chief Conservation Officer and a Deer Steward Instructor. “Not only is that a benefit to their clients and to deer conservation, but it also helps spread awareness of NDA’s important mission work to new owners of hunting land, who then become involved and supportive. All this helps ensure more acreage across the country that’s being managed wisely for deer.”

In addition to training courses for their Land Specialists, Whitetail Properties TV will also share its unique talents in video production to help improve NDA’s online Deer Steward course. Whitetail Properties will film and produce an updated edition of the Level 1 course for online certification.

“Our partnership with NDA, and the custom training we’re receiving, is just another way our Land Specialists are unrivaled in rural real estate,” said Alex Gyllstrom, Whitetail Properties Marketing Director. “Nowhere else can you find agents who can help you acquire land with great potential and then assist you in creating a comprehensive deer management plan to reach your goals. This great, long-standing partnership with NDA insures our agents are the highest trained land specialists and provide the best service and overall experience for buyers and sellers.”
